The spinning took place in sacramental ceremonies to ensure the fertility of people,
animals and the earth, but also to protect young people in the various age phases. Spindles (arch. whirlwinds) were favorite toys of children and young women,
as can be seen in pottery representations. But the patron saint of children’s games,
Hermes, has also been captured enjoying this game.
Turbines were known from prehistoric times but became particularly popular
from Archaic times onwards. Metal element Pendant string. Available in three colors,
two metallic gold-plated and silver-plated and in black matte, painted with electrostatic paint.
